Founded in 1979 by a dedicated group of nurses, Hospice of the Foothills has grown from a visionary all-volunteer initiative to Foothills Compassionate Care, a leading non-profit specializing in supporting families and patients living with chronic illnesses or experiencing an end-of-life journey in Western Nevada County. We feel nobody should have to face the end of life or manage serious chronic illnesses alone. We offer palliative care and hospice services.
