The Fire Department serves the residents of the cities of Nevada City and Grass Valley out of 3 stations located strategically throughout the two cities. Daily the Fire Department staffs a minimum of 7 personnel and when fully staffed can have 9 people on duty. The organization is proud to provide Fire and EMS services to the residents of both cities and many of the residents in the unincorporated areas directly around the city limits.
