4th of July Celebration

Get ready to don your flags and patriotic attire – the 4th of July parade! The 4th of July Parade will take place in downtown Nevada City on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 11am. In addition, there will be a concert by the Nevada County Concert Band in the Alpha Building from 10-11am and a street fair on N. Pine Street from 10am-1:30pm. Nevada City and Grass Valley trade off on hosting the annual 4th of July Parade, with even number years in Nevada City and odd numbered years Grass Valley. A free fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m. at the interchange of Dorsey Drive and can be viewed from various locations around Grass Valley. Find a lot to park in and enjoy the free show. The Grass Valley Downtown Association will also be hosting at Family Pancake Breakfast from 8-10am; and a Mill Street 4th of July Celebration 5-9pm.
